A cerimônia do Billboard Music Awards 2020 teve o cantor Post Malone como o grande vencedor da noite. O rapper se destacou com 16 indicações e conquistou nove estatuetas, entre elas a da principal categoria da cerimônia, “Top Artista”. O evento foi apresentado novamente pela cantora Kelly Clarkson. Sem plateia devido à pandemia. Durante a premiação ocorreu grandes performances de Demi Lovato, BTS, Bad Bunny, Sia, entre outros.
